Most radio clubs are regional or local. AARN is changing the game. No borders, just community, from Sea to Shining Sea, where there is no room for fascism, racism, oppression, and cruelty. Dedicated to inclusion, support, encouragement, and community. If you’ve ever felt shunned, shamed, excluded, belittled, or bullied and have an interest in radio communication, we are here for you.
We strongly feel that regardless of race, gender and gender identity, sexual preference, financial situation, religious belief, neurodivergence, and any other marginalized groups of people have been under-represented in amateur radio to the point of exclusion. We are a safe space. We don’t just deliver training—we craft tailored solutions that that are designed to help the marginalized get into the hobby. By blending practical information with easy to digest lesson, we help you not only retain the information you need to pass the exam, we set you up to get on the air with confidence not found in other courses.
